About the lecture: On June 14th, 2015, the solo exhibition of German Neo-Expressionism master, Markus Lüpertz will held in Redtory Museum of Contemporary Art. The well-known philosophy researcher Zhang Zhiyang and theorist Huang Zhuan are invited to have a academic dialogue around this exhibition.

About the speaker: Zhang Zhiyang：Professor of Hainan University Social Science Research Center Social Ethics Research Institute. His research fields include western philosophy, Chinese contemporary philosophy and Chinese ancient philosophy.

Huang Zhuan: Professor of The Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts，Executive Curator of OCAT Research Center. He was involved in contemporary art events through different ways since 1980s. He was one of the editors of The Trend of Art Thought from 1985 to 1987. 他He joined the planning of the “Guangzhou•First Two-Year Exhibition of Contemporary Art of 1990s (Oil Paintings)” in 1992 and the planning of “Re-Interpretation: The First Guangzhou Triennial Exhibition” in 2002.
